Planning + Design

Ø       Create design concepts, furniture layouts and present samples of finishes for the selection of textiles, carpets, wall coverings and other interior building materials

Ø       Develop installation drawings, technical specs and schedules for delivery and installation

Ø       Meet with client and contractor to review schedules and discuss process

Ø       Manage and inform team members to keep the critical path of the project moving

Ø       Complete punch lists and sign offs

 

Space Planning & Work Flow Evaluations

Ø       Create floor plans illustrating how people would relate in a new or reconfigured space

Ø       Meet with project team or department manager to review plans

 

AutoCAD Drawings

Ø       Draft floor plans and furniture layouts on AutoCAD software

Ø       View 3-D pictures of furniture workstations from isometric drawings

 

Move Management

Ø       Develop program to move departments in a logical and efficient manner

Ø       Coordinate furniture relocation and installation with data and communications

Ø       Tag items to avoid double handling and misplacement

 

Reconfigurations

Ø       Evaluate existing furniture to determine its possible re-use

Ø       Supplement new furniture where needed to maintain your corporate standard or to blend with your old furniture and update the look of your space

 

Inventory Assessments

Ø       Conduct a walk-thru of your space to assess existing furniture inventory

Ø         Provide a report that indicates the disposition of items as approved by client

 

Finishes & Furniture Master Planning

Ø       Select wall and flooring materials to update the finishes of the building

Ø       Select textiles and other finishes to develop a new color scheme that can be easily updated and maintained

Ø       Review cleaning procedures with your maintenance or housekeeping department

Ø       Determine furniture selections and layouts that can be added by department or area to eventually complete a full renovation

 

Standards Programs

Ø       Determine short-term and long-term goals for the use and application of furnishings

Ø       Standardize existing furniture layouts or develop new layouts based on client criteria

Ø       Review procurement policies and purchasing contracts to streamline the process for the client

Ø       Negotiate improved discounting structure on purchasing contracts for standardized products

 

Project Coordination & Client Representation

Ø       Attend progress meetings with contractors as client representative

Ø       Review project development and report any concerns that need to be addressed to client

Ø       Evaluate the quality of workmanship and inspect project progress

Ø       Promote the client’s best interest

 

Installation & Warehousing

Ø       Receive, deliver and install ordered products with union or nonunion labor

Ø       Stage and store items for your project as needed
